Antar

Terms of use

Last updated 17 August 2026

These terms cover your use of the Antar app and this website. Using Antar means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.

1. What Antar is

Antar is a Vedic astrology app. It computes your chart from astronomical data and offers interpretation drawn from the classical tradition, in conversation.

Vedic astrology is a traditional system of reflection. It is not empirically proven, and nothing Antar tells you is a statement of fact about your future. Treat it as a lens for thinking a decision through — a structured way of looking at a situation — and not as a forecast. The decisions remain yours, and so do their consequences.

2. What Antar is not

Antar does not give medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and nothing it says is a substitute for a doctor, a therapist, a lawyer or a licensed financial adviser. Do not delay seeking professional help because of something Antar said.

If you are in crisis, contact a crisis line or emergency services. In India: AASRA 9820466726, iCall 9152987821, Vandrevala 9999666555. Elsewhere, see findahelpline.com. Antar will point you to human help rather than offer an astrological reading about a crisis, and that is deliberate.

3. Your account

You need an email address to sign in, and you must be at least 16 to use Antar. Keep access to your email secure — anyone who can read your inbox can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The birth details you enter are yours to enter. If you add a chart for another person, you confirm you have their agreement to do so.

4. Subscription and payment

Nothing in Antar is sold as a consumable. There are no credits, no top-ups and no per-question charges, and we do not intend to add them — a meter is what makes an astrologer stretch a session.

5. Fair use

Don't:

We can suspend an account that does these things. If we suspend yours and you think we got it wrong, write to us and a person will look at it.

6. What belongs to whom

The app, its design, and the calculation and interpretation systems behind it are ours. Your birth details, your conversations and your memory thread are yours — we do not claim ownership of them, and we use them only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Antar running but do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change as the app develops. If we ever discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice and a way to take your data with you.

8. Liability

Antar is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any decision you take after using it, or for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law in your own country that cannot be limited by agreement.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Antar afterwards means you accept the new version.
